Tulu Koota - Kuwait, for the 9th year in succession, successfully organized "Tulu Parba Competitions 2009" on Monday, September 21, 2009 at Indian Community School (Senior Girls) Kuwait.
The program was started at 10:00am with Prayer Song by Miss.Vichita Chinmaya followed by traditional lighting of lamp by President A. K. Ravindra, he welcomed everyone in his brief message and wished all participants good luck.
The competitions were held for all age group, Muddu Kanda, Coloring Sketch, Drawing, Make up & Hair style, Salad Competition, Tulu Elocution, Male Dress Up as Female, Sole Dance, Group Dance, Fancy Dress and most attractive event Tulunada Special Coconut Grating,
During the program, all Judges were honored by flower bouquets and mementos and winners & runner-up were honored by memento & certificates.
Delicious lunch was served by Oriental Restaurant and Refreshment was served by Mr.Chandrahas Shetty
General Secretary Sathya Narayan delivered vote of thanks. Program was well co-ordinated by Mrs. Shalini Y Alva and her team.
The program was well compared by Mr. Yadunath Alva and Mrs Anitha Shetty.
The program concluded at 6:00 p.m. singing of National Anthem of India.
