Tulukoota Kuwait bid adieu to its founder member and Ex- Management & Executive committee member Ivan Kiran D’souza.
A farewell party was organized for Ivan Kiran D’souza on Sunday 31st January 2010 at Salmiya Playschool by Tulukoota Kuwait to express sincere appreciation for the dedication and commitment of Ivan Kiran in laying the strong foundation of Tulukoota in Kuwait.
Ivan Kiran D’souza has been in Kuwait for the past 11 years. His link with Tulukoota Kuwait commenced with the first Tulukoota Kuwait gathering at Village Inn restaurant in the year 2000, where he was appointed as the Tulukoota Kuwait representative for Subhan Area. He progressively moved on to take up position of PRO & Treasurer in Tulukoota Kuwait.
Ivan Kiran has also headed the Tulukoota Kuwait Souvenir committee in the past and has delivered one of the best souvenirs during Tuluparba celebrations.
Ivan Kiran D’souza was honored by presentation of shawl by Tulukoota Kuwait Advisor Sudhakar Shetty, and presentation of Memento by Tulukoota Kuwait President Swarna Chandra Shetty.
Sudhakar Shetty in his farewell speech praised the dedication and commitment of Ivan Kiran D’souza and also applauded the important role played by him in laying the strong foundation of Tulukoota Kuwait.
Later, Mohammed Iqbal Sports Secretary Tulukoota Kuwait, and Tulukoota Kuwait Advisor Satishchandra Shetty also expressed gratitude for the excellent services rendered by Ivan Kiran to the Koota, and wished him all success in his endeavors, and hoped that Ivan would continue to be an integral part of the Koota irrespective of the geographical distances.
In his speech, Ivan Kiran thanked Tulukoota Kuwait, and said the whole experience with Tulukoota Kuwait has been indeed a meaningful experience, that he would carry on in the future. He also said - the greatest experience he had, has revolved around people. The foundation of his success today is the relationships that he has made with so many people , in all walks of life during his tenure with Tulukoota Kuwait. He encouraged the executive and subcommittee members to actively involve themselves in the Koota activities, and blossom to their fullest.
The program was beautifully compered by Chandrahasa Shetty PRO Tulukoota Kuwait. General Secretary Sathyanarayan delivered vote of thanks.
