Tulukoota Kuwait puts up a dazzling "Tuluparba 2008" at American International School auditorium.

A thundering applause from the audience summed up the atmosphere as the two days festivity came to an end on 10th October 2008. Tulukoota Kuwait members gathered at Amercian International School auditorium were convinced that this was yet another successful event from Tulukoota. As the audience almost over 1300 on Thursday 9th & Friday 10th October departed , the satisfaction was clearly evident on their face, and Tulukoota Kuwait managing and executive committee were beaming with sense of accomplishment.

No doubt the stars for the two days were the Lakumi Tanda artists themselves, but the team work of the Managing Committee and executive committee members in putting such a fabulous show was appreciable.

On Thursday 9th October 2008 the show started at around 7:00pm with Welcome dance by Mrs. Prerna Waliwadekar dance group. This was followed by lighting of the traditional lamp by President Satishchandra Shetty and other managing committee member along with Main Sponsor of the program Behbehani Car Rental. The Tuluparba souvenir release amazed the audience, and was followed by welcome speech by Vice President –Swarna Chandra Shetty. "Nambunane Nambodu "staged on 9th October started with a perfect blend of comedy by Dinesh Attavar, Dharmendar Amin, Suresh Manjeshwara, Sundar Rai Mandara & Asha Marnad. The story progressed gradually depicting the various blind beliefs of Tulunadu but ended up like a powerful storm leaving the audience in tears with superlative performance from Navin D Padil.

Friday 10th October had attracted larger number of audience, though the drama "Anchilath Inchilath "was changed due to sad demise of veteran actor "Anand Bolar". The drama staged on 10th October "Benpinori Tenpinori" was yet another outstanding performance by Lakumi Troupe . The day started around 4:30 pm with welcome Dance by Nritya Dhyana kids followed by lighting of traditional lamp and welcome speech by President Satishchandra Shetty. Benpinori Tinpinori had breathtaking dialogue delivery by Navin Padil; Sundar rai Mandara again enthralled the audience with his mind blowing performance.

Sponsors and cosponsors of the program were honored during the felicitation ceremony. Tulukoota executive committee members Louis Lobo, A.K Ravindra, Tharendra Shettigar were honored by presenting shawl and memento for their relentless efforts and contribution to Tulkoota Kuwait.

Merit Cum means scholarships were awarded to Tulukoota Kuwait members children from Xth & XIIth std. Appreciation certificate were awarded for children scoring high percentage in Xth & XII th std.

Every one attending the event seemed to enjoy perfectly every moment of the Tuluparba celebration. The second day program was yet again beautifully compered by Mrs. Shalini Alva & Co- host Suresh Salian. And Tuluparba 2008 is yet another success story for Culture Secretary -Harish Bhandary
