The launch of ‘Tulu Koota Kuwait Calendar 2012’ marked the commencement of a bright & successful year ahead by the new team of Tulu Koota Kuwait committee members. The TKK Calendar 2012 was released by the Sponsor & Senior Member of TKK’s Advisory Committee Mr. Nakre Satishchandra Shetty and the President of Tulu Koota Kuwait Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor.on 20th January, 2012, at the All Committee Meeting held at Indian Public School.

Tulu Koota Kuwait witnessed the emergence of a new enthusiastic team of Managing Committee members at the 12th Annual General Meeting of Tulu Koota Kuwait held at Indian Community School (Sr. Girls), Salmiya, on Friday, 16th December, 2011, who affirmed their willingness to work for the progress and welfare of the Tuluvas, like their predecessors.

Tulukoota Kuwait celebrated its 11th Tuluparba on Friday, 4th November 2011 at American International School Hawally. The highlight of this year Program was Tulu Drama” Ajjigerla ijji” written by Harish Padubidri, directed by Ronald D’souza.

The beautiful classical dance presented by “Rhythm Scapes” choreographed by Ms Sangeeta Prasad provided a flying start to the “RASAMANJARI-2011” celebrations held by Tulu Koota Kuwait on Friday, April 29, 2011, at the American International School, Maidan Hawally. Tulunadu crowd turned out in large numbers to witness the melodious event. Rasamjari-2011 was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by Chief Guests for the event Mr. Satishchandra Shetty, Mr. John Paul Fernandes, Mr. Felix D’souza Al Rathath along with Tulu Koota Kuwait Culture Secretary Ronald D’souza & President Mrs.Swarna Shetty, and other Managing Committee members.

As promised the 11th Annual Family Picnic of Tulukoota Kuwait at Mishref Garden on Friday March 4th 2011 was thrilling and fun loving experience for a gathering of over 900 people. Despite the dusty weather Tulukoota Kuwait members showed up in large numbers and took part in the fun filled activities and games arranged for them. This years picnic too proved to be yet another unique and wonderful experience surpassing the audiences expectations. Delicious breakfast was sponsored and arranged by committee members Harish Bhandary, Yadunath Alva & Govind Babu.

Since its inception in Year 2000 Tulukoota Kuwait has been greatly supported by Patrons, Sponsors & Donors. Our Patrons Sponsors and Donors provide us a vital source of inspiration guidance, financial assistance, that supports a whole range of our social cultural and philanthropic activities.

The Management committee members expressed their thankfulness for the overwhelming support being extended by the Indian ambassador H.E Ajay Malhotra for Tulukoota Kuwait activities. The 2011 calendar of events was also presented to the Indian embassy.

Tulukoota Kuwait strongly believes that helping our community is not something we choose to do , but actually an important part of our existence. As an integral part of our vision, Tulukoota Kuwait has during the first quarter of 2010 provided financial support to Chethana Special School. Chethana Special School is a special school for the mentally and physically challenged and is located at Karkal, Udpi District, Karnataka State.

Free medical camp was successfully conducted by Tulukoota Kuwait in association with Bahrain Exchange Company, and under the patronage of Kuwait Medical Association, IDF & Kuwait Heart Foundation at Indian Central School Abbassiya
