Tulukoota Kuwait expresses deepest sorrow over the passing away of “Konkan Kogul’-Wilfy Rebimbus. Wilfy Rebimbus was one of the most acclaimed exponents of Konkani Music. His death is an irreparable loss to his fans across the world. Tulukoota Kuwait convey heartfelt condolences to the members of his bereaved family and countless admirers and fans of Konkani music. We pray for the peace of the departed soul.

In an endeavor to promote the spirit of “Share your love & care with the society”, Tulukoota Kuwait organized its first voluntary blood donation camp on Friday 19th Feb 2010. The camp was organized at Jabriya Central Blood Bank from 08:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs. The blood donation started with the first group of donors from Tulukoota Kuwait Managing & Executive committee members. Blood donors not only included Tulukoota Kuwait members, but also different section of public came forward to be a part of this noble cause.

Tulukoota Kuwait Managing Committee had the privilege of meeting the Indian External Affairs Minister SM Krishna on Thursday, February 4, 2010. The Indian External Affairs Minister had arrived to Kuwait on 3rd February 2010 on a two -day visit

Tulukoota Kuwait bid adieu to its founder member and Ex- Management & Executive committee member Ivan Kiran D’souza. A farewell party was organized for Ivan Kiran D’souza on Sunday 31st January 2010 at Salmiya Playschool by Tulukoota Kuwait to express sincere appreciation for the dedication and commitment of Ivan Kiran in laying the strong foundation of Tulukoota in Kuwait.

Fr. Melvin D’cunnha – Parish Priest of Holy Family Cathedral & Fr. Theo Fernandes – Our lady of Arabia Church Ahmadi were accorded a fond farewell by Tulukoota Kuwait during the first Committee meeting held by Tulukoota Kuwait at CaesarsRestaurant Fahaheel on Friday, 15th January 2010 .

Tulukoota Kuwait Managing Committee 2010 had its first meeting with Indian Ambassador H.E Ajay Malhotra on Tuesday, January 12th 2010.

The committee thanked H.E Ajay Malhotra for the overwhelming support received during the year 2009. The committee also presented to H.E Ajay Malhotra the calendar of events and plans for 2010.

Tulu Koota Kuwait successfully held its annual general meeting at United Indian School Auditorium- Abbasiya on Friday 18th December 2009 at 10:00 pm to elect the new committee for the year 2010

Tulukoota Kuwait (TKK) has recorded one more grand success event to its events list of 2009 as it has successfully organized the women’s throw ball and men’s volleyball tournaments at the American International School Indoor stadium Hawally on Friday, November 27 starting from 8:30 am.

As people from Tulunadu assembled to celebrate 9th Tuluparba function on Friday 9th October 2009, the American Creativity school glittered in the festivity and fervor , with hundreds of fans of Mohan Alva anxiously awaiting his arrival.

The American Creativity hall was a scene of excitement, celebration, festivity, cultural pomp and grace Around 11:00 am Mohan Alva was accorded a traditional Tulunadu welcome nadaswaram, chande, umbrella reception, ladies holding kalasha, girls showering flowers, a perfect setting to host beloved son of Tulunadu Mr. Mohan Alva.

The morning program got a colourful start with a warm welcome by morning section hosts : Antiha Shetty & Sanath Shetty, and lighting of the lamp by Mohan Alva and the managing committee thus marking official commencement of the function. This was followed by release of Tulukoota Kuwait souvenir commemorating the activities during the year and support of patrons and well wishers.

Mrs. Swarna Shetty delivered the welcome speech , and this was followed by graceful welcome by the the Tulukoota Kuwait kids. "Jai Bharata Jananii Tanu Jate” welcome dance set the tone for the rest of the day.

Tulu Koota - Kuwait, for the 9th year in succession, successfully organized "Tulu Parba Competitions 2009" on Monday, September 21, 2009 at Indian Community School (Senior Girls) Kuwait.

Children scoring the highest marks (amongst the applicants ) in the Xth & XIIth standard Board examinations conducted during the academic year 2008-09 in each category will be awarded the scholarships during the TULU PARBA celebrations on 9th Oct. 2009.

Tulukoota Kuwait put together an extravaganza musical evening at Masrah Hawally on Friday 29th May 2009. The program began around 5:00pm with lighting of lamp by the Managing Committee , and President speech. The hall was completely packed with over a crowd of 700.

The renowned Singers Sreekanth Kamath, Anith Samson, Kalavathi, Dhananjaya Varma & Prakash Mahadevan, has arrived yesterday night. President A.K.Ravindra and Committee Members welcome the artist at the airport.

April 24:Tulukoota Kuwait Family Picnic was successfully held at Jabriya Garden on Friday, 24th April 2009. After a long dusty & Rainy days, the sky was clear and the weather on Friday morning was so inviting and fabulous that the Picnic was well attended with over 1000 members’ family and friends

A thundering applause from the audience summed up the atmosphere as the two days festivity came to an end on 10th October 2008. Tulukoota Kuwait members gathered at Amercian International School auditorium were convinced that this was yet another successful event from Tulukoota.

Tulu Koota Kuwait Management Committee and advisory committee member availed the wonderful opportunity of meeting the outgoing Indian Ambassador HE M Ganapathi Ambassador of India to Kuwait on Friday 29th August 2008.

The much awaited flight from Kuwait landed at the Bajpe Airport in Mangalore on July 18th 2008 at 8:50 am sharp. It was a sunny morning with no sign of dark clouds or impending rain. The weather seemed to be in keeping with the beaming faces of the passengers who alighted and made their way to the arrival lounge.

Tulukoota Kuwait held its Annual Musical Programme- Rasamanjari 2008 with Gurukiran and his troupe at "Masrah Hawally Auditorium "Friday, 9th May 2008. This was the first time that Indian musical sensation Gurukiran performed with his other artists like Chaitra, Shamita, Naveen Kopa, Deva & Dayanand in Kuwait. The venue was packed as over thousand fans gathered at the Masrah Hawally auditorium to listen to the high energy singer, and have a glimpse of him.

Friday, 14th March 2008, a free medical camp was successfully conducted by Tulukoota Kuwait in association with Bahrain Exchange Company, and under the patronage of Kuwait Medical Association, IDF & Kuwait Heart Foundation at Indian Central School Abbassiya
